Role of an Animator

Animation is such an integral part of multimedia. A lot of people think animation is all about cartoons and other children’s movies. But the fact is animation is required even for those action packed movies, television commercials, video games etc. The entertainment industry is definitely dependent on animation for lot of its visual effects. The role of an animator is to create animation, special effects or some visual images with the help of some electronic tools or simply by using a computer. An animator is not only responsible for entertainment purpose, but also they do motion graphics and help in recreating a crime scene which can be helpful to the forensics.

As an animator, you can also be responsible for producing simulations for the military practices or design an animated graphics for websites. Even for model homes, animations are used for creating virtual tours of the building.
